On my Topshop Wishlist

With Spring finally really in the air, I’m finding myself jumping from one website to the next, scouring for unusual pieces that I can add to my collection. I am a sucker for unusual pieces like this one I’m pictured in which was sold out before I shared it with you guys! To avoid these situations, I’m sharing items I’m finding on my web travels that I will either be buying or would be buying if I had an endless stream of cash…

My first #wishlistwednesday offering is my Topshop basket. Topshop & I have a love/hate affair - love their pieces, hate the US price points (double the UK!). That being said, I still can’t help but fall in love with the dresses below. There is definitely more for me to want from Topshop, but for now, these 3 dresses had me at hello!!

No. 1 // This is my favourite of the 3. I love unusual pieces, especially those with clashing patterns and colours. This dress does it for me - I am in love.

No. 2 // This dress takes me all the way back to 1997 in Bristol, UK when slinky satin dresses were all the rage and I was looking for a dress for my 6th form dance. Back then I didn’t have to worry about sucking my tummy in, or think too hard about bra solutions for open back dresses. In Arianna Grande’s words “I want it, i got it!”. Even though now i do have to think a little harder about these issues, I’m happy to do so with this dress in my hands. I mean, it’s yellow & satin & comes complete with a showstopping chain accessory. So disco fabulous! Sticky bra & ab-crunches to the rescue!

No. 3 // As soon as I saw this dress I loved it. I’m not keen on the way it is styled here - I would add some colour to make it pop! If you’re one of those people who wants to wear the neon trend this summer but not on a dress, consider accessorising a dress like this one with neon sandals & clutch. Neon pink would look amazing here with a clutch in a neon pink & black print. This is a perfect dress up / down dress, and so flattering with that bodice.

Do any of these dresses tickle your fancy? And do you like the idea of these #wishlistwednesday posts? Let me know in the comments below!
